1. WHEEL DIAMETER

The eV1 is available in a choice of diameters to match your wheel size.

We offer: 26", 27.5" (AKA 650b) and 29" (AKA 700c)

Check you tyre, or bike manufacturers website to be sure.
2. CASSETTE & DERAILLEUR MANUFACTURER
The cassette and derailleurs on your bike must be 7, 8, or 9-speed, the kit fits some 10 speed cassettes, but not all - reach out if you are unsure.
3. REAR DROPOUT

The gap in the frame that the rear wheel fits into needs to be at least 135mm. (most mountain bikes, hybrid, and touring bikes use this format).

However, if your dropout gap is larger, we offer extra parts to make your bike compatible.

Please note: The eV1 does not fit road bike wheels with less than a 135mm dropout gap.
4. BATTERY POSITION
Your battery dock replaces your bottle holder, so check that you have mounting points for a bottle holder. The eV1 battery with its dock is 35cm long and 8cm high, so you'll need sufficient space.
The battery is easily removed from the side, so even if space is tight in your frame, the battery is still accessible.
If your frame gap is larger than 135mm, the eV1 can still fit your bike with a few extra parts for a small additional charge.
